‘Metal Gear Solid 5’ developer revealed (Photos)

The developer has been revealed for the upcoming video game, “Metal Gear Solid 5.” According to a report by IGN on Feb. 27, Hideo Kojima disclosed that the numbered entries in the series will always be developed at Kojima Productions. You can check out some screens from “The Phantom Pain,” which is believed to be related to be “Metal Gear Solid 5,” in the slideshow at the top of this article.

“The Phantom Pain” was first revealed via a debut trailer in late 2012. The video game is being developed by the mysterious Moby Dick Studio for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. Fans of the “Metal Gear Solid” series quickly discovered hints from within the trailer and other sources that suggested that the new intellectual property is actually “Metal Gear Solid 5” in disguise.

Hideo Kojima and the rest of development team at Kojima Productions are currently working on “Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes” for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
