A reminder has been posted in regards to the Amazon pre-order bonus for the upcoming multiplatform title, “Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.” According to a report by Hawt Wired on Feb. 14, the online retailer is still offering the Inferno Armor, which lets players carry more throwing weapons, for Raiden. The bonus is available for both the regular and limited editions. METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE “Inferno Armor” for Raiden. Fire up cyborg ninja, Raiden, with the Inferno armor skin exclusive to Amazon. In addition to the dynamic red armor exoskeleton visual upgrade, players will receive an increase in the maximum amount of throwing weapons such as grenades within his arsenal.
“Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance” was previously called “Metal Gear Solid: Rising” before it received a reboot. The gameplay portion of the action-adventure title was handled by Platinum Games while Kojima Productions was responsible for the story and cut scenes. Konami Digital Entertainment will be launching the “Metal Gear” spin-off video game for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 home consoles in North America on Feb. 19.
