Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is not cancelled for PC, as some may have feared, but rather is heading out for Windows in the near future, according to a report today from GameSpot.

Speaking on the Kojima Productions latest Alert podcast, staffers with the studio said the PC follow up to the game that launch on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in February is in the final stages of development and should be out "any day now."

"Yes, it's coming, and it's coming sooner than you anticipate actually," a Kojima Productions representative said. "Rising on PC is not canceled. It's in the final stages right now.”

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will run at 60 frames per second on the PC, and though no other specifications were announced the Platinum Games title will launch as the “full game.”

According to the Kojima representative said gamers should see the game pop up on Valve downloadable games service Steam, a platform in which both Platinum and KP had hoped to launch through, according to a previous GameSpot report.

The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance received a MetaCritic scores of 82 and 80, respectively.
