‘Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance’ new game plus and VR mission modes revealed (Photos)

Several new details have been revealed in regards to the upcoming multiplatform title, “Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.” According to a report by Gameranx on Jan. 28, the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 video game will include a new game plus and VR mission modes. In new game plus, players will retain all the progress from a previous play-through in addition to unlocking a harder difficulty level. The VR mission mode can also be unlocked by the finding the “portable boxes and tablets” that are spread out throughout the campaign. “Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance” is currently being developed by Platinum Games with Kojima Productions also helping out in the game’s story and cut scenes segments. The action-adventure title is slated to come out for the aforementioned Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles in North America on Feb. 19.
