The install size has been revealed for the Playstation 3 version of the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.” According to a report by Hakoom on Feb. 17, the spin-off “Metal Gear” title will require 2,186 MB of free space on the hard disk drive of Sony’s high-definition system. By comparison, “Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots” required 9,027MB. The installation would be completed in around two to three minutes. “Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance” will be released by Konami Digital Entertainment for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles in North America on Feb. 19. The video game was developed by Platinum Games (the studio behind “Bayonetta” and Vanquish) with additional help from Kojima Productions (who had previously worked on the aforementioned “Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots”) in the story and cut scene segments.
