Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance DLC announced

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. announced two upcoming packs of downloadable content for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance earlier today. Fans will be happy to hear that the first DLC pack is called Jetstream and features Jetstream Sam as a playable character with a standalone storyline shedding some more light on his background. Jetstream Sam was a very likeable antagonist and it will be fun to play as him in the game.

The second DLC, Blade Wolf, obviously allows players to play as Blade Wolf (a.k.a. "IF Prototype LQ-84i") with his own origins storyline. Both DLC packs are said to be multiple hours long and both Sam and Blade Wolf have their own unique techniques.

Also released today was a pack of 30 all-new VR missions exclusively for the PlayStation 3 version of the game (at least for the time being). The VR DLC is currently available to download for free and feature the classic VR look from the original Metal Gear Solid.

The new DLC will be available to download on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 sometime in April. Each pack will cost 560 Microsoft Points ($6.99).
