The divorce scandal between Johnny Weir and Victor Voronov is taking its toll on Johnny. Radar Online, March 27, 2014, reports that the Olympic figure skating champion has had to vacate his position on “Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice" this season because of his divorce.

Even though Johnny started the series, he is unable to finish because of the mounting problems in his divorce. He failed to show up for filming this week.

A source told Radar Online, “He felt all of the drama was going to detract from filming, and decided to quit. It was a hard decision for him to make because Johnny was very excited about doing the show, and has tons of respect for Donald Trump. Hopefully, the offer for him to appear on the show will be extended again in the future.”

Donald Trump show is not the only show that Johnny has lost. The source went on to say, “Johnny has also been put on ice by NBC….there were plans to develop a reality show with Johnny and Tara Lipinski. The duo was a hit with their broadcasting from the Sochi Winter Olympics, but all of that is now on hold. This divorce is going to cost Johnny a lot of career opportunities, and that is truly sad for him.”

Amid rumors of domestic violence within the marriage and dog abuse, the divorce has turned into a bitter battleground. Earlier this month, police charged Johnny with domestic violence because he allegedly bit Victor. Johnny reports that Victor came to their bedroom, heavily intoxicated, seeking intimacy. Johnny refused. A fight ensued and the police arrived. When the case went to court, the couple appeared to have made up. The judge dismissed the case upon Victor’s request.

Johnny competed in "Rachael vs. Guy" on the Food Network channel. Recently, he was a NBC commentator for the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
