Anne Hathaway has everyone swaying on Tuesday night during the tribute to Meryl Streep. One of the recipients of the Kennedy Center Honors, the entertainer had several of her friends on stage sharing unique tributes to the actress and Anne Hathaway had to be the best.
The stage was set in a lounge setting with the entrance of Hathaway giving everyone delight. Singing about Meryl Streep, the actress actually had the audience clapping and swaying back and forth. Keeping it lively, Anne did a split on the stage in what had to be a difficult move. However it was the ending, with the entire cast on stage, Anne Hathaway including, toasting the accomplished actress for all that she has done in the arts.
The performances and reflections of the actors who received the awards on Tuesday night reminded everyone how much influence the arts still have in America. Sharing the gift of acting, singing and performing, some of the most accomplished celebrities have been taken for granted, but on Tuesday night a moment in time was set aside to notice some of the finest.
