Meryl Davis, Charlie White ice dance strong in Olympic team competition (photos)

Meryl Davis and Charlie White gave Team USA a great moment on the ice on Sunday. The Olympics inaugural Team Figure Skating competition came to a close at the Winter Games, but before it did the United State ice dancing portion of the competition received a high score. According on to ABC News on Sunday, the dancing couple have great chemistry on the ice, but off the ice they aren't dating.

While fans in America glazed into their televisions, they couldn't take their eyes off the dancing couple as Meryl Davis and Charlie White seemed to effortlessly skate the ice without even appearing to have a hint of trouble It was a moment that Americans were cheering on and even half way around the world the energy of the performance was felt.

The performance wasn’t enough to cover the deficient of score to pull the Americans a silver, but the debut event gave Team USA a proud moment and a bronze medal. It was a tough competition, but all the athletes have excited the fans for the individual competitions that are set to start later this week. The talent that will be seen on the ice, especially from the Russian and American skaters will have many gasping as Sochi is giving fans some of the best athletes in the world.
