Some people use curse words as every other word, and some rarely use them at all.
Most people can contain their potty mouth's while in certain situations, at work, school church, in front of parents, but every now and then, even the most restrained people slip up and say a word that should not be said in the wrong place.
Meredith Vieira, who is known for her professional image, and is always so well put together, had one of those slip ups while subbing for Kathy Lee Griffin on The Today Show.
The show had been on a commercial break and as they came back on air, Meredith was sitting with host Hoda Kotb and weatherman Al Roker, and was holding a drink in her hand.
She accidentally let go of her cue cards and as they fell to the ground she said, loudly, on air;
"Oh, s--t!"
Hoda starts laughing and says;
"Go ahead and put it on Gawker immediately"
Meredith then says;
"Oh, my gosh, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry."
A bleep, which is supposed to cover up slips like that on television then sounded, a few seconds to late.
Hoda said; "A little late for the beep."
Though Al Roker, cheered and smiled all the while throwing his hands in the air screaming;
"Yes! Yes!"
Meredith just looks so sorry and Hoda continues to talk all the while giggling about the slip up.
Everyone makes mistakes Meredith, Tom Hanks made a bigger slip up late last year as he appeared on Good Morning America and was doing an acting part in a different accent, slipped and said the F word.
He apologized, Vargas apologized and the station even issued an apology on air.
It happens to the best of us Meredith.
