Meredith Amanda Moore teams up with Jade Lambert-Smith in Spelman College "Crowns"

Once again, Meredith Moore teams up with Jade Lambert-Smith to excite audiences with another extraordinary performance. This time, Spelman College is proud to introduce the musical production of Regina Taylor's "Crowns" to the Atlanta community.  Meredith Moore and Jade Lambert-Smith are both Atlanta natives who work hard to expose their craft to their local community. Meredith uses her expertise in choreographing the musical "Crowns"  to capture the movement that director Jade Lambert-Smith has in mind.

Meredith left Atlanta to receive her MFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from New York University. She gives her opinion when asked about the future for the arts in her home town.  'Atlanta is definitely changing to support the dreams of many young artists who dream of making Atlanta the next broadway stop.'

After receiving her Master's Degree in the Big Apple, Meredith comes home to find that even though opportunities are vast in the Big Apple, the opportunities in Atlanta are just as big.

"Crowns" opening night performance starts February 18th and runs through the 21st.  All performances will be at Baldwin Burroughs Theatre on campus at Spelman College.  Please call 404 270-5488 for ticket information.
