Mercury Retrograde alert!

Hi, Everyone,
Mercury, the planet of communication, is now in its shadow and starting to slow down. It retrogrades at 3 degrees of Cancer on June 7, 2014. Mercury retrogrades from June 7, 2014 until July 2, 2014. When Mercury is retrograde, the energy is thwarted.

Mercury rules all modes of communication: spoken and written agreements, electronics, automobiles, and planes. Expect delays and glitches with travel and communication, be wary of what you say, and back up all of your important files and computers. Communication is very emotional and backwards with this energy. Try not to take things personally and be sensitive in how you communicate to others.

The upside is that it is a great time for re-opening unfinished business, reconnecting with old friends or clients, repairing things, reorganizing, reexamining, reviewing, and researching. This year has been one retrograde after another, so we cannot put our lives on hold with Mercury retrograde; however, it is helpful to be aware of it and do things a little more slowly and carefully.

This will be an interesting Mercury retrograde because its begins with the emotional and sensitive water sign of Cancer and goes back to the intellectual air sign of Gemini, where it stations on July 2, 2014 at 24 degrees of Gemini. I think the theme will be emotional communication issues and memories from the past, as Cancer rules the past. It is very likely to hear from or run into an old friend or lover with this energy. It is up to you whether you want to reopen that door.
