The Mercer Bears showed no mercy toward the Duke Blue Devils in today's second round of the NCAA Tournament game.

In a 78-71 win, Mercer shocked Duke by pulling off the upset in which Duke was the favorite to win and move on. That did not happen. Instead it is the Mercer Bears who will be moving on.

Having a first squad of all seniors, the Mercer Bears showed confidence throughout the entire game with Forwards Daniel Coursey scoring 17 points and Jakob Gollon chipping in the same number as on his jersey, an astounding 20 points to lead the Bears in an amazing win.

The high scorers for Duke were Quinn Cook, who scored 23 points while hitting seven of ten 3 pointers and Rasheed Sulaimon, who scored 20 points and shot five of twelve from the 3 point arc.
