We are in the month of fall but fashion means never having to play by the rules, and for the next seven days designers will be unveiling--more like unleashing--their Spring/Summer 2015 collections for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York City. Fashion editors, trendsetters and fashionistas will have their front row seats, but the rest of us will still get the chance to be part of the excitement.

Here's how:

If you want to follow the happenings via social media, it's best to hop on twitter and click on #mbfw or #nyfw. That way not only will you get great links, pictures, and live coverage, but you can also chat with other fashion fiends stuck at their cubicles.

If you prefer to watch, the official event website and their YouTube channel, as well as sites like New York Fashion Week Live, New York Fashion Week dot Buzz, The Cool Hour and Grazia will be broadcasting live, straight from the runways.

Be sure to catch collections from these hot designers:

Friday: Rebecca Minkoff, Nicole Miller, and Monique Lhuillier

Saturday: Hervé Léger by Max Azria

Sunday: DKNY, Vivienne Tam, and Nanette Lepore

Monday: Carolina Herrera, Dennis Basso, and Reem Acra,

Tuesday: Tory Burch, Badgely Mischka, and Jenny Packham

Wednesday: Deola Sagoe, Betsey Johnson, and Anna Sui

Thursday: Ralph Lauren, J. Mendel, and Calvin Klein

Mercedes Benz has the full schedule of events and times posted.

If photos, recaps, and behind the scenes action are more your speed, keep your eyes glued to On the Runway, the New York Times style blog, or New York Magazine's The Cut.
