MEP Engineers celebrates 'National Engineers Week' Feb. 16-22

MEP Engineers, LLC, a Farmington Hills, Michigan based company, - Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Engineering & Construction Services firm is celebrating 20 years of service, and is conducting a national campaign to get students involved in engineering in the Detroit and Pontiac, Mi area, according to Inform Yourself Youth Development, Friday, Feb. 14.

Students Learn About Engineering Careers Through STEM Programs

Carlton D. Jones, Chief Operating Officer of MEP Engineers states, “We are also celebrating National Engineers Week, Feb. 16-22, by partnering with Inform Yourself Youth Development in an initiative called “Engineering In A Box” for the Detroit and Pontiac school districts.”

“Engineering In A Box” is a STEM program involving: science, technology, engineering, and math, and is designed to encourage students in grades 2-12 to become interested and informed about STEM careers. “Turning students on to engineering can be as easy as a few clicks of the mouse,” stated Jones, and MEP Engineers is thrilled to be a part of such an important movement.

Since 1994, MEP Engineers has offered the latest in engineering and technical services for the mechanical, electrical and plumbing disciplines including major mechanical systems, HVAC design and construction support services.
