MEOW hosts 4th annual auction and wine tasting fundraiser

It’s been a hot and sticky week for Seattleites -- what with our totally green boycott of air conditioners and selfless positioning of fans towards our pets. Still, we’re soldiering on. Why? Cat's Amore!

This Saturday, July 25, enjoy la dolce vita at MEOW Cat Rescue and Adoption’s 4th annual auction and wine tasting event!

Cats Amore will be living it up from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at North Bellevue Community Center, 4063 148th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA.

No need to worry about tickets. General admission is free and if you opt to join the wine tasting (and you will) it’s just $20, payable at the door. No RSVP is necessary, but you must be at least 21 to attend.

Pete's Wine in Bellevue will be providing the wine tasting this year. Wine Host Bob has selected six wines which represent a variety of whites, reds and sparklings from several areas of Italy. Although you may not be familiar with the names and varietals yet, face it, your “palate” (mostly honed by Two Buck Chuck, not that anyone’s keeping track) could use some diversifying. Enjoy sampling something new and perhaps finding a new favorite.

Light hor d'oeuvres inspired by Italia will also tempt you as you peruse the amazing items up for bid in the silent and live auctions. Proceeds will help Kirkland’s MEOW provide safe shelter and a second chance for cats and dogs.
