They say money can't buy you love but it definitely can get your man out of jail. At least that's the sum that Vh1's 'Love & Hip Hop NY" star Yandy Smith paid to finally have her man, Mendeeces Harris released from jail. Democrat and Chronicle reported on Tuesday April 1, has been released on a $600, 000 bail of which fiance, Yandy agreed in federal court to be responsible for $200,000.

While cameras were rolling for the next season of LHHNY Mendeeces was released from the Yates County Jail, where he was being held since he turned himself in back in January 2013. Fans of the show watched as Mendeeces tried to explain to his children that he would be leaving for a while, and also watched as Yandy surrounded herself with family, friends and work to keep her mind off of the fact that no one really knew when Mendeeces would be released.

With so many rumors floating around from prior social media post that Mendeeces had been released, Yandy made sure that the information would come from her this time so that everyone would know it is true. Through her website,, Yandy had this to say:

“We have been anticipating him getting bail for a while. As you know from the show, every time I got excited, circumstances came up and threw a wrench in the plan,” Yandy told EGL. “So this time, I did not get excited until I heard the judge say all the terms were accepted and bail was granted.”

And bail was definitely granted to the tune of $300k of which Mendeeces provided $100, 000 from his own account and Yandy provided the rest.

Democrat and Chronicle recapped the allegations surrounding Mendeeces arrest stating, "Harris, 35, is accused of a role in a New York City-based drug ring that included his brother, Tyrus Harris, and another man, Ronald Walker. Tyrus Harris pleaded guilty before Geraci Monday, and Walker pleaded guilty last year.

The drug ring transported cocaine to the Rochester region, federal authorities allege. Tyrus Harris faces a sentence of about five to seven years, under federal sentencing recommendations."

As for Mendeeces for right now, according to Yandy's Instagram post, "“’s going to be like Christmas at our house.” And she does look happy in her home video with her man and Usher's "Daddy's Home" playing in the background. Can't wait to see the next season of LHHNY.
