The 27-hole, full-service facility – located just south of the capital at 6357 Emerald Links Dr. in Greely - runs a men’s league on Wednesdays and a women’s league on Thursdays.

And golfers who’d like to begin their own get-togethers are encouraged to contact Emerald’s director of golf Chuck Boyer to get things rolling.

The Wednesday Men's League’s features are playing nines holes, a shared power cart, dinner and prizes. The tee times start at 4 p.m. and players of all ability levels are invited.

A registration fee of $75 goes toward a season-celebrating banquet. The weekly fee is $43 plus HST.

The Thursday Women’s League also begins play 4 p.m. This weekly event is open to all level of golfers from beginners to low-handicappers.

The league’s registration fee is also $75 and covers the season-celebrating banquet. Each week the golfers shoot nine holes while sharing a power cart. Dinner with weekly prizes complete the event. The weekly fee is $43 plus HST.

Emerald Links is a lush bent-grass track. The tees face fairways and greens that meander through mature wooded areas dotted by lakes and ponds. Sixteen of the 27 holes have water and there are more than 75 bunkers lining the fairways or on the edges of the velvet greens.

Complementing the lush layout is a classic colonial-style brick clubhouse in which players can relax while enjoying food from the extensive menu that is always accompanied by friendly service in the licensed Bunker Restaurant.
