It used to be hard to look put-together while traveling. The designs and fabrics of "easy care" clothing always had an apologetic air, that if one would just meet you on your own home turf, you'd look sharper.
There are lots of times when you need to look your best away from home: conventions, upscale restaurants, the theater, the symphony, out-of town fundraisers, etc.
Again, Tilley to the rescue, this time with the City Collection Travel Blazer. RoCK was very happy to be hosted to experience it! He appreciates the finer quality fabric, the hidden and the secret-secret pocket that only genuine owners of the blazer get to know about (we won't tell!), the drape, the color. At first, I noticed the lack of gold buttons that one usually finds on such a navy blazer, but RoCK explained that you don't want metallic buttons on a travel blazer: they'd set off metal detectors, get caught and torn off airport conveyor belts, etc.
This is what Tilley says about the blazer:
Treated with stain/spill-resistant finish for easy spot cleaning
Classic notch collar
Two button closure
Nine secured pockets
Outside: One left chest pocket and two front Velcro®-sealed hand pockets
Inside right: one top and one bottom right side button pocket
Inside left: one top and one bottom left side button pocket; one pen pocket
One ultra secret pocket
Single back vent
Fabric certified “EXCELLENT” UV protection, rated UPF 50+ the maximum rating given
Regular centre back length: 33”
Tall centre back length: 35”
