Katherine Parker, 32, faces three counts of animal cruelty after authorities found three dogs in her Orange Mound backyard; two of whom were emaciated and one dog found dead and partially eaten reported Tennessee's Commercial Appeal.

Memphis police arrived at the home in the southeast section of Memphis at the 2400 block of Cable on Sunday. Parker stated she had owned the three dogs for a few months.

The arrest affidavit stated:

"the dogs were caused serious injury in a depraved and sadistic manner."

Parker is currently in jail in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

The surviving dogs were removed from Parker's residence and taken to Animal Control for veterinarian care.
