Trey Erwin is a Collierville High School sophomore and a wide receiver for the Collierville Dragon football team. Recently he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, adult pancreatic adenocarcinoma. Presently, there is no cure for this type of cancer.
The Memphis and Collierville communities have united to create Play For Trey, a benefit concert to help the Erwin family with their financial obligations and to create awareness for this type of cancer.
The concert is presented by Q1075, the Memphis Grizzlies, Republic Coffee and Dr. Eric Gardner. The event will be held on Saturday, May 19th at 6pm (with a rain date set for Sunday, May 20th) at the Collierville High School football stadium.
Featured artists include FreeSol, Prosevere, Jimi Jamison of Survivor, Twin Soul and the Jeff Maxwell Band.
Come on out and show your support for Trey and listen to some great music! Doors open at 5pm.
Tickets can be purchased at the Collierville High School football stadium at 1101 N. Byhalia in Collierville, TN, by calling 1-888-71- TICKETS (1- 888-718-4253) or at www.hutchentertainment.com .
