Memphis 48 Hour Film Project's early bird signup ends soon

See also

It's that time of the year again; time for the Memphis 48 Hour Film project, which will run from August 1 to August 3, 2014. If you haven't already signed up to participate, you still have plenty of time; however you don't have much time left to get a price break on the "early bird" special.

In a press release from Rich Newman, Memphis producer, the guidelines and other relevant information of the project are presented.

"Less Than A Week Left for Early Bird!

There's less than one week left to sign up for this year's Memphis 48HFP at the Early Bird price. If you had a team last year--or were part of a team and are creating your own, new team this year--sign up before this Friday July 11th to take advantage of Early Bird Pricing. The earlier you get your team up, the earlier you can lock down your cast and crew. Register now at http://www.48hourfilm.com/memphis

Great Incentives!

This year's sponsors have added some great incentives for everyone to shoot a 48HFP short film. NewBlue has a free download for teams to use in editing, LensProToGo is offering a year long discount on rentals for team leaders, and Pond 5 has a free offering of stock music that you can access for your film!

A Great Weekend of Filmmaking!

The last two years has been a blast at the Memphis 48HFP and this year will be even better. We have a great cadre of judges for the event (Melanie Addington (Oxford Film Festival), Sharon O'Guin (Memphis & Shelby County Film Commission), and Willy Bearden (Memphis filmmaker/PBS producer). We are in a great location for all ages teams (Jack McGoo's), and teams have the ability to shoot in HD this year for a better experience at our Malco screening!

So take advantage of the discount this week and get your team signed up for the Memphis 48 Hour Film Project!"
