Anchors aweigh go enjoy a fun-filled day of sea chanties, workshops and maritime folklore.
What: You’re invited to join The U.S. Navy Memorial, Washington Revels, and the Folklore Society of Greater Washington as they present the first annual Capital Maritime Music Fest which is an all-day festival that celebrates the maritime musical culture. Look forward to live musical performances by Bob Zentz, OCEAN Orchestra, The Washington Revels Maritime Voices and Janie Meneely & Calico Jack in the Burke Theater.
Who: Open to general public for free, but a $20 donation is suggested. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
When: Saturday October 12, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
