This Memorial Day weekend did not offer many new film release options; however movie buffs still flocked to the theaters to see box office favorites like "Guardians of the Galaxy" which ranks this week as the year's highest grossing US release thus far. For movie fans hoping to find something new, "The November Man" starring Remington Steele and OO7 star Pierce Brosnan debuted this holiday weekend in theaters.
In "November Man" Pierce Brosnan plays an ex-CIA operative who returns to duty only to find himself being hunted down by his former student played by Luke Bracey from the 2013 film "G.I. Joe: Retaliation." "The November Man" is an espionage film adaptation of the November Man book series by author Bill Granger.
Other movie options this Memorial Day weekend include "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" and "If I Stay" a film adaptation of the book by the same name from New York Times bestselling author Gayle Forman. "If I Stay" is a story about a 17 year old girl, played by Chloe Grace Moretz, whose life dramatically changes after a catastrophic car accident that leaves her in a coma.
