Mountain Creek Golf Course has released its membership numbers and categories for the 2013 season.
Here are the levels of membership being offered:
- Full seven-day - $935 (tax included)
- Full couple - $1,610 (tax included)
- Weekday - $810 (tax included)
- Weekday couple - $1,410 (tax included)
- Intermediate (under 35) - $520 plus tax, couple $1,040 plus tax
- Twilight after 1 p.m. - $415 plus tax
- Family - Couple rate plus $100 per child under 16 years old.
The 18-hole championship course plays to par 70 and has three sets of tees. They are 6,217 yards from the blues, 6,021 yards from the whites and 5,405 yards from the reds.
The layout winds its way around two lakes and a meandering creek, which comes into play on five of the holes.
The clubhouse sits on a highpoint overlooking the entire track. The views from the deck and the large picture windows provide a spectacular backdrop for golfers as they kick back with playing partners before and after their rounds.
A PGA of Canada professional is always on staff in the pro shop. He offers individual or group lessons and carries a full line of equipment and clothing at competitive prices.
The course features a fleet of recently purchased motorized golf carts and rents pull carts and golf clubs.
Mountain Creek is situated six kilometres south of Arnprior — only 30 minutes past Scotiabank Place.
