Membership drive: Falcon Ridge Golf Course (Photos)

The 2013 membership drive at Falcon Ridge Golf Course is hitting a sweet spot of value with Ottawa and area golfers.

When men and women sign on with the 27-hole full facility, they are not only able to get their swings in on two of the most original layouts in the capital region, but are also able to take advantage of one of Ottawa’s best practice setups and can settle back with pals after rounds in the state-of-the-art clubhouse or on the huge patio.

Falcon Ridge is an 18-hole semi-private course playing to par 72. There are four sets of tee boxes measuring from 5,383 yards to 6,945 yards.

Its sister track, Raceview, plays to par 35 and has two sets of tee boxes measuring from 2,158 yards to 2,563 yards.

The modern clubhouse includes a large pro shop, the superb Out of Bounds restaurant and two large banquet rooms. And right now it is home to two latest generation High Definition Golf simulators and a practice cage.

The extensive practice area that is open to everyone features a chipping green, putting green, huge driving range and an instruction area operated by PGA of Canada professionals from the Ottawa Athletic Club.
