Membership bonus in play for National Capital Golf Tour

The early bird deadline to register a membership to play on the National Capital Golf Tour in 2014 is a week away.

Golfers who sign on for the 2014 NCGT Season, and pay in full before March 31, will have a shot at winning a 2014 Meadows Driver's Club Card.

The winner gets to play as often as he or she wants at the Meadows Golf Course at reduced fees and receives discounts at the restaurant, pro shop, for golf cart rentals and on range balls.

“This will be our 13th year of hosting tournaments for the average golfer who plays in competitive events elsewhere with little chance of winning something,” said Steve Karam, the tour’s president. “Players on our tour have a legitimate shot at winning prizes because we use handicaps. This makes it fair for all levels - we have players with handicaps as low as three and four and others as high as 30-plus - to compete against one other.”
