“Modern Family” actor Eric Stonestreet uploaded a screenshot on Wednesday of his conversation he had with his mom Jamey Stonestreet during her flight to Kansas City. The message read: “I think Gene Simmons is on my flight. Do you think I should give him a kiss?”
Mrs. Stonestreet was correct. In fact, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley were on board the same flight. Now what happens next turns into a classic case of he said, she said evident by what the actor posted next: “Gene tried to bully my mom out of her seat and when she said no, he said, ‘It’s okay, I just bought the plane’ and then asked her for her autograph.
Eric Stonestreet also claimed Paul Stanley called his mom “Aunt Bee” and went on to say how he could not wait to run into the two bleeping make-up wearing old bleeping rockers but ended his rant with, “You should have been nicer to my mom.”
Can you imagine a Simmons and Stonestreet family feud? So Simmons and Stanley also took to the battlefield known as Twitter to deny the bullying claim and calling the matter a misunderstanding, writing, “Someone posted a story which is blatantly untrue. The essence of it was that we were mean to somebody’s mother. It’s simply untrue. I actually waited so your mom could get off first. The rest – a misunderstanding of joking. I apologize anyway. Good son.”
Stonestreet replied as only any good son should with, “Thank u for that. She did tell me you let her go first. I will tape my glow in the dark KISS posters back together now. Ok @genesimmons. Take care. I assure u, I will have a stern talk with my mom about making up stories. Old people, ya know? Our apologies ”
And that boys and girls is how you settle a misunderstanding. You KISS and make up. Good answer.
