Melyssa Ford is remaking herself. The former video vixen has not only embarked on a new career as a real estate agent in New York City, she's also starting on her journey of being a reality TV star. She's one of the new stars of Bravo's "Blood Sweat and Heels," which premieres in January. In a Wetpaint Entertainment article posted on Wednesday, Dec. 11, Melyssa talked about her insecurities about joining the show and dealing with the other women.
"Oh my God! If you don’t have any insecurity about joining a reality show, then I wanna study you! Absolutely, you question everything about yourself. You question, 'Was my reaction to whatever authentic? Was it because there were cameras there? What would I have really done?' You go through a lot mentally...I literally almost drove myself nuts," she replied when asked if she had any insecurities about joining the show.
While the trailer for "Blood Sweat and Heels" shows a lot of drama between the women, Melyssa said that things didn't get too nasty.
"We handle our conflicts, I think, in a very mature manner...I don’t think we really hit below the belt. Well, I can only speak for myself," she said.
There certainly are a lot of real estate agents on Bravo reality TV shows these days. Several of the "Shahs of Sunset" cast members are real estate agents and there are the "Million Dollar Listing" guys. Perhaps some of them can give Melyssa some tips on how to juggle a real estate and TV career.
