Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, and your children will no doubt be bouncing about the house counting down the minutes to when they go to bed (this only happens once a year) while you are trying to get baked goods made and clean the house for family and friends.
Disney Family Fun has a great little craft to keep your children busy for a few minutes of peace and quiet.
The supplies you will need can be found at Hobby Lobby (located on East Battlefield next to the Mall). The supplies you will need are as follows:
- White and colored felt
- Tacky glue
- White pom-pom
- Black puffy paint
- Craft foam (for nose)
- Twigs (for arms)
Have your child cut a puddle shape from the white felt and use tacky glue to attach a white pom-pom to the top. Instead of tacky glue, you can use hot glue if your child is old enough.
With black puffy paint, have your child(ren) add eyes, a mouth, and buttons. Glue on a craft foam nose and twig arms.
Lastly, wrap a felt scarf around your snowman's neck and glue it in place.
Hopefully this craft will give mom and dad a few moments of peace and give your children a chance to relax.
