Melon Fest coming soon

Visit the Atlanta Botanical Garden (ABG) Saturday, August 21st for Melon Fest. The festival is a celebration of "fresh, ripe melons", which will be provided by Gwinnett's Phoenix Gardens

Festival-goer have the opportunity to watch a demonstration, participate in a seed-spitting contest and / or watermelon rolling, sample a variety of European melons, learn about pickling rinds, and more. 

The festival is from 12:00 - 3:00 pm at the ABG, located at 1345 Piedmont Avenue NE downtown. 

Tickets are $15.00 for adults and $12.00 for children and Seniors.  Infants and Toddlers 3, and younger, enter free.  (Discounted tickets are available at HalfOffDepot.com/Atlanta, while supplies last.  Select the link for information.)

Parking is $.75 for minutes 16 - 30, with the additional fee of $1.00 per additional 30 minutes.  (Please plan accordingly.)
