Melissa McCarthy hosts ‘Saturday Night Live’ for 3rd time with Imagine Dragons

Melissa McCarthy returns to host “Saturday Night Live” on Feb. 1, 2014, with musical guest Imagine Dragons, according to NBC.

This will be Melissa’s third time hosting “SNL.”

In promo clips for the upcoming show, Melissa and cast member Kenan Thomson come up with inventive alternative names for Super Bowl XLVIII like, “Live Ball War: The Game;” Melissa gets rough with Kenan; the two show off their vocal prowess; Melissa blames Kenan for missing a slam dunk; the actress believes she has purchased the actual Olympic torch; and Melissa and Kenan celebrate her return to “SNL” with a strenuous dance.

In promo clips for the upcoming episode, Melissa and members of Imagine Dragons find actually try to imagine dragons; Melissa admires the members of the band, finding them “pretty;” and the actress tries to get to the bottom of the group’s name – and whether drugs may have been involved.

Melissa stars in the CBS sitcom, “Mike & Molly” and will also star in the upcoming feature films “St. Vincent De Van Nuys,” “Tammy,” “Susan Cooper,” all in post-production, according to IMDB

Saturday Night Live” hosted by Melissa McCarthy with musical guest Imagine Dragons airs tonight at 11:30/10:30c on NBC.
