Miss Delaware Teen USA, Melissa King surrendered her crown on Tuesday after it was suspected that she featured in a sex-tape that surfaced online the day before.
According to reports on Feb. 26, 2013, the 18-year-old beauty queen Melissa King’s resignation has reached the Miss Delaware Teen USA pageant from her attorney as confirmed by pageant spokesperson Dara Busch.
King who is aware of the sex-tape going viral online denies being the woman featured in the tape.
The said sex-tape is just over five minutes long and features a woman who appears and sounds like King. The woman performs different sexual acts with a man in the tape whose face was not shown.
According to reports, the unidentified man in question also asked several questions to the woman before initiating the erotic performance.
The questions he asked include her age, if she has a boyfriend, when she had sex last and when she lost her virginity.
And some answers matched with King’s identity. With the surrender of her ‘Title’, Hailey Lawler of Newark, the runner-up of the competition held in Nov. 2012 is reportedly slated to take King's spot.
