Melissa Gorga has provided some new details about season six of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey." As reported by The Star-Ledger on Monday, April 21, Melissa recently made an appearance at the Tampa Home and Garden Show, where she talked about what viewers can expect from the new season.
Fans of the show will have to wait a little longer to watch the New Jersey housewives. Melissa said that the new season will air in June or July, which is a bit later in the year than for previous seasons. She also confirmed that viewers won't see Jacqueline Laurita but will see her husband's cousins, Kathy Wakile and her sister Rosie Pierri, in smaller roles than in seasons past.
As for her long feud with sister-in-law Teresa Giudice, that seems to have really been put to rest. Melissa said that she and Teresa are "in a really great spot" and that, despite reports out there of Teresa being broke, depressed and almost homeless, Teresa is "doing good."
While viewers won't see Melissa fighting with Teresa much, they will see some friction with the new cast members, twin sisters Teresa and Nicole Napolitano and their friend Amber Marchese. Melissa said that they "definitely come and bring the fire." She also indicated that she has known Amber for quite some time as she said that she knows one of the new cast members from a long time ago and that "she comes and brings some friends with her."
In addition to Melissa Gorga, Teresa Giudice, Teresa Napolitano, Nicole Napolitano, and Amber Marchese, viewers will also see Dina Manzo, who confirmed in October that she has returned for season six of "The Real Housewives of New York City." Joining the former housewives list is Jacqueline Laurita's sister-in-law and Dina Manzo's sister Caroline Manzo, who now has her own spin-off show with her family set to debut soon on Bravo, titled "Manzo'd With Children."
