The words of Mel Gibson's deposition do present another side to the battling that took place between the father of seven children with his wife Robyn, and his mistress, Oksana Grigorieva.
The he-said and she-said appears to be one of the most volatile of all Hollywood divorces. If the two were ordered into parenting classes together, they both need anger management as well.
Keep in mind that the scene he describes is that of Oksana holding Baby Lucia, a baby who was just 2 months of age!
This is what the Los Angeles Times, Ministry of Gossip, is reporting regarding an argument on January 6th. -- which is one key piece of the domestic violence accusations. "The actor describes an argument that started in the kitchen and escalated after he told Grigorieva to get out of the house and she refused. . . .
"He says Oksana grabbed Lucia from her bassinet in the next room and shouted and continued to scream at me and argue with me while she held Lucia between us" he says, "literally placing our 2-month-old baby in the middle of our argument."
"In the document filed June 23, he describes his then-girlfriend running barefoot in a bathrobe through her son's room and out about 75 yards into the backyard at night, then squatting and screaming with the baby to her chest while he yelled at her to bring the child inside. Once she was back in the house, he says, she refused to give Lucia to him and swung the baby to keep her out of his reach.
"Oksana's rapid movements were causing Lucia's little body to be flung from one side to the other, her head shaking violently," Gibson says in the declaration.
"This was the only way I could think of to stop her hysteria," he says, explaining that he feared Lucia would be injured, and that his hand never touched the kid. Document: Mel Gibson admits slapping Oksana Grigorieva, not punching her
The National Enquirer says: He claimed her "hysteria" placed baby Lucia in danger because he feared the infant might suffer from Shaken Baby Syndrome as Oksana's "rapid movements were causing Lucia's little body to be flung from one side to the other, her head shaking violently." MAD MEL CONFESSION
As I have reported earlier, the Judge initially grated visitation to Mel Gibson because he belived the words of Robyn Gibson, who said her husband was never violent with either her or her children.
Is Oksana an opportunist actress willing to use their child to get what she wants? Based on some new evidence, it appears that she might have had extortion on her mind. This just reported by TMZ: Oksana to Mel: 'Too Much Evidence, My Dear'
