Mel Gibson protects baby; Oksana's bodyguard ordered to stay away

In another twist to the Mel Gibson-Oksana Grigorieva case, we see Gibson taking his fatherly duties seriously -- as we learned he is apt to do from his former wife Robyn.  She defended him in court against Oksana's claims of abusive.  The judge, well acquainted with domestic violence cases, sided with Gibson after his wife's testimony.

Now reported is another twist -- Gibson filed a restraining order against Oksana's body guard and here is story:

"Kristian Otto Herzog has been working for Grigorieva as her bodyguard and adviser, but TMZ reports that Herzog has a criminal history that concerns Gibson. Herzog has two felony convictions, and a track record of impersonating a police officer, including carrying a loaded weapon; and use of colored lights and siren to pull people over.

"TMZ also says that Herzog has claimed to have provided security to actor Jack Nicholson, but that is said to be completely false.

"This sketchy background prompted Gibson to file a petition in court to keep Herzog away from his daughter with Grigorieva, Lucia. A judge honored the request and slapped Herzog with a restraining order, ordering him to stay away from the baby girl."Daily links: Mel Gibson seeks restraining order against ex's bodyguard

We must now wonder if Gibson is going to seek more visitation rights or even custody.  Other sources have reported that Robyn and their family love Baby Lucia. This protective order is more in keeping with the character described by Robyn

"Mel never engaged in any physical abuse of any kind toward me before, during or after our marriage," Robyn Gibson said in a declaration to a Los Angeles judge overseeing the custody battle between Gibson and Grigorieva. "Mel was a wonderful and loving father." Why 'domestic violence' judge believed Robyn Gibson, Mel's ex-wife
