Mel B is a busy woman. Besides being the mother of three children and hosting, not one program but two: “America’s Got Talent” and “Stepping Out” (UK), the former Spice Girl managed to drop 10 pounds in 2 weeks. With such a hectic schedule and jet-setting between New York for fashion week, “America’s Got Talent” and the U.K. where “Stepping Out” has premiered, one might think that the singer lost weight simply from being on the move. Actually, Mel B dropped the weight by training with Nicky Hollender.
Nicky Hollender is a fitness guru to the stars and his touting quite the impressive resume. In addition to Mel B, some of his celebrity clients include Gerard Butler, Graham Mctavish, Frank Lebeouf, Barry Venison, Stephen Ireland, Victor Anichebe, Salomon Kalou, Gilles Marini, Hank Baskett, Kendra Baskett, Mel B (scary spice), Chris Harrison, Robbie Williams, and Gordon Ramsay. So, what exactly did Mel B do to achieve such quick results?
According to Mel B., she gave up alcohol completely, indicating that at 150 calories a beer, there just isn’t any room in her diet to indulge. She ate a lot of vegetables and fish so that she could stay on a low-calorie diet and incorporated plenty of cardio workouts to her routine. To begin with, she trained six days a week and would run six miles per day, followed by 30 minutes of high-cardio training.
What do you think? Are you going to incorporate some of Mel B’s fitness tips in your own routine and set a goal to drop 10 pounds in 2 weeks through healthy eating and exercise?
