Mel B booed at 'America's Got Talent' audtions

Mel B of the Spice Girls apparently was booed at the "America’s Got Talent" auditions. America hasn't taken too kindly to the singer. TMZ broke the news on March 5. Mel B is one of the two new judges on the reality competition show. Heidi Klum is the other new judge.

Mel, Howard Stern, Howie Mandell and Heidi Klum were taping the show in New Orleans on Monday. The very first act was the band Lagniappe. The band is very popular in "The Big Easy."

Mel B didn't understand the type of music they were playing. She told the band that she wasn't fan of brass music. That's when the audience booed Mel B off the set. They even shouted for her to go back to her country.

That must have been an embarrassing moment for the new judge. Before the auditions started, Mel was excited about her new gig. She took pictures of the set and uploaded them to Twitter.

None of the judges have confirmed if Mel B was booed. The singer hasn't yet spoken out about the incident. Fans will have to wait until "America’s Got Talent" returns to NBC this summer.
