Megan Smith was crowned Miss Marble Valley 2013 on Feb. 16, Miss Alabama Anna Lauren Bryan announced.
The crowning qualifies for the Miss Alabama Pageant, scheduled for June 5-8.
The winner of the state pageant will represent Alabama at the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City.
Smith was a contestant in the 2011 Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen Pageant, when she was the reigning Miss Smiths Stations Outstanding Teen.
The teen pageant is the younger-sister contest in the Miss America Organization. It is for girls ages 13-17 years.
She was named third runner-up for Miss Alabama Junior Teen 2008, where she was the winner in the SpokesModel competition, finished first as Best Resume Writer and was second runner-up in the casual wear competition.
At the 2006 Miss Alabama Pre-Teen Pageant, she was second runner-up in the talent competition and fourth runner-up in the casual wear competition.
