WFLA-TV is down another weathercaster. Megan Hatton, who is the station’s weekend morning meteorologist, is leaving the station within the next three weeks and moving to Houston, Texas, joining her husband who is news director at KTRK-TV. Last week, Brooks Garner announced he was leaving the WFLA-TV weather department for a job in Houston.
Hatton tweeted to her followers last week that her last day on WFLA is April 3. She has been at station since 2007.
Janine Turner, who most people know from her work as an actress on the television show “Northern Exposure in the 1990’s, launches her national radio show today (Monday) on satellite radio. “The Janine Turner Show: All American Common Sense” will air weeknights from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sirius/XM channel 166. Guests during her debut week include Bill O'Reilly, CNBC's Larry Kudlow, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, Ambassador John Bolton, Senator Ted Cruz her “Northern Exposure” Co-Star Darren Burrows.
Janine Turner had been doing a local radio show in Dallas for the past few years and is a regular contributor to Bill O’Reilly’s “Factor” program on the FOX News channel.
She says her show “will bring a fresh, original political analysis with an All-American Common Sense touch. My show is a solution oriented show, where we live in the solution and not the problem.”
Actress/Singer Audrey Landers will be our guest tonight at 7:00 p.m. on “Sports Talk” to talk about her upcoming appearance on “Dallas” on TNT. Audrey played Afton Cooper on the original series and is reprising her role on the March 25th episode. Also, Rich “Spitz” Spedialiere will call in to talk some NCAA brackets, NHL and baseball.
