Megan Fox is smoking-hot after her rapid post-baby weight loss on a low carb, sugar-free Paleo diet. Fox said she avoids alcohol, dairy and all refined carbs, but makes sure she gets plenty of fiber.
"Any sort of bread, crackers, chips, pretzels — that doesn't exist in my life," Fox told E! Aug. 7 "Like there's bread over there and never again would I put that in my body.
"But I also don't drink alcohol, which turns to sugar, and then turns to fat. And I eat a ton of fiber. That's the other thing for women, you really need that fiber."
In addition to cutting carbs, Megan also gave up smoking and joked that she doesn't have sex anymore because she and husband Brian Austin Green co-sleep with their two-year-old son, Noah.
As a result of Fox's steely self-discipline, she looks slimmer and sexier than ever just six months giving birth to her second son (in February 2014).
Quickly Lost 23 Pounds After First Baby on Dairy-Free Paleo Diet
But given Megan's track record, it's not surprising she lost her baby weight in record time. In 2012, Fox regained her slender pre-baby body just two months after giving birth to her first son, Noah.
Megan gained just 23 pounds during her first pregnancy and shed the weight quickly by following the low-carb, dairy-free Paleo diet.
The Paleo diet emphasizes high-quality animal proteins such as grass-fed beef and bison, healthy fats like coconut oil, vegetables, and excludes gluten, sugar, dairy, legumes, starches, alcohol and processed foods. The Paleo diet is the most popular diet around today, and has a huge celebrity following, including Tim McGraw (who credits it for his jaw-dropping 40-pound weight loss) and Joe Manganiello.
NBA superstar LeBron James recently showed off his shocking weight loss on a strict low-carb diet. While LeBron has not stated what type of diet he's following, he was reportedly inspired by the dramatic transformation his former Miami Heat teammate Ray Allen experienced on the Paleo diet.
Research suggests the low-carb Paleo diet promotes weight loss and prevents diabetes, Alzheimer's and starves cancer. TV star Jack Osbourne and singer Chad Vaccarino both use the Paleo diet to treat their multiple sclerosis.
Fox's longtime trainer, Harley Pasternak, said Megan's pregnancy workouts also contributed to her super-fast post-baby weight loss. Fox's workouts combine cardio exercise with strength-training and stretching.
Kristin Cavallari Lost 20 Pounds in 2 Months on Paleo
Megan isn't the only celebrity who has lost baby weight quickly with the Paleo diet. TV star Kristin Cavallari credited the Paleo diet for her 20-pound weight loss just two months after giving birth to her second child.
"We eat a ton of veggies, chicken, grass-fed beef, bison and fish," said Cavallari. "We also love sweet potatoes and brown rice pasta."
Kristin said her breakfast is usually a smoothie, oatmeal or eggs, while lunch is a salad or turkey sandwich. Kristin also snacks most afternoons, enjoying nuts with dried cherries, chips with hummus, or an apple with almond butter.
Cavallari also makes sure to eat healthy Paleo-approved fats such as avocados, olive oil and coconut oil. "I also love avocados with olive oil and sea salt and I put coconut oil in or on everything," she said.
