Singer Rihanna entangled a ballad with signature Eminem lyrics and the two artfully designed "Love The Way You Lie". This week, their "Love The Way You Lie" music video went viral and the two artists asked Megan Fox to take part in the fiery playout.
In what Eminem describes in the song as a "tornado meets a volcano", the singers battle over abusive relationships. Eminem said in a recent interview this week that of all artists that he could have picked for the collaboration, Rihanna, who has a familiar history with Chris Brown, was the only one that could sing it out.
"As far as the songs with Pink and Rihanna," Eminem said in an interview with Skyrock Radio. "When I did the song that I did with Pink, I laid my parts first and kind of heard her on the record and felt that she would smash this record," Em told Skyrock Radio in Paris.
"And the other one I did with Rihanna is one of those tracks that I felt like only she could pull it off, only she could do it."
Because RiRi "loved Eminem" she didn't hesitate to join him in lyric and the song was produced in just two days. When she was interviewed by Access Hollywood, the 22-year-old R&B singer said the result was two personalities to the situation coming together in one song - Something Rihanna thought was brilliant.
"It's something that, you know, [Eminem and I have] both experienced," she told Access Hollywood. "On different sides, different ends of the table. [...] It was believable for us to do a record like that, but it was also something that needed to be done and the way he did it was so clever."
The song is a single off of Eminem's seventh album (read about the album here), produced by Alex da Kid. According to music charts, the song is the fourth #1 hit for Eminem and Rihanna's seventh. As of publish, the song has locked down the #1 spot for the past three, consecutive weeks.
Sultry Megan Fox was asked to be in the video (almost giving Rihanna her Megan Fox lesbian fantasy) and the producers set her on fire. See more in the video below...
