Will this be the Megan Fox role of a lifetime? Okay, that’s exaggerating things, but it was announced on Friday that the “Transformers” actress has been cast in the upcoming “Ninja Turtles” flick.
In an attempt to clearly add some sex appeal to his film, and kiss and make up with one of his actors, Michael Bay (who is producing the film) announced this week that Fox has been cast in the upcoming flick.
Details are still sketchy on who Fox will play, although some are already suggesting that Fox’s role will be that of April O’Neil.
On MichaelBay.com, Bay made the announcement official in a short and sweet message on his website:
“TMNT: we are bringing Megan Fox back into the family!"
There’s no question that Fox’s casting will cause many fans to grumble about what this means for the beloved comic and cartoon franchise. The ninja turtles have not been seen on the screen since 2007 in animated form, and yet their probably still most beloved these days for their original live action movie, as well as the classic cartoon of the 1990s.
