Megan Fox quits Twitter just one week after joining the popular social media site. The beautiful brunette, who is a married mother-of-one, used her Facebook account to announce her abrupt exit from Twitter. She made the following announcement on Jan. 10, 2013 at 10:02 a.m.:
"Some of you may or may not have noticed by now that my Twitter account has been shut down . . . I thought that 2013 might be the year that I finally blossomed into a social networking butterfly, but as it turns out, I still hate it . . . Love you guys but I will just never be that girl. Facebook is as much as I can handle. I'm sorry."
During the short period of time before Megan Fox quit Twitter, she had accumulated 250,000 followers. On Facebook, she has nearly 40 million likes. Many of her FB fans took the time to respond to her departure from that other social media site by expressing understanding and empathy for the young celebrity mom.
Narada Andre' Robinson wrote, "dont feel bad megan we are busy ppl, & who in the world can keep a bookface (yessss i call it bookface) account & have a twitter tweeter account as well!!!!!! Live your life and keep moving onward & upward!!!!! TAKE CARE & BE INSPIRED ALWAYS......"
David Kneeland chimed in, "Hey Megan, you are human too. You do have a life, you share some of it with your fans. You don't have to give it all. Your family is and always will be the most important thing and you don't need anything else."
Now that Megan Fox quit Twitter, fans will have to follow her on Facebook instead.
