The woman we all know as one of the sexiest bombshells of Hollywood, Megan Fox, is removing her long-lived tattoo of Marilyn Monroe. The driving force of such a major change? It might just be Lindsay Lohan.
Megan Fox revealed that after reading more on the life story of Monroe, it was decided that the tragic actress was just as “uninsurable” and “unreliable” as Lindsay Lohan.
The Transformers star has been under laser surgery in attempts to fade the tattoo of Monroe that is inked on her forearm due, in part, to the fact that she did not want to be associated with the actress’ negativity.
In an interview with Esquire Magazine, Fox stated, "I started reading about her and realized that her (Monroe's) life was incredibly difficult. It's like when you visualize something for your future. I didn't want to visualize something so negative... She wasn't powerful at the time.”
She continues to compare Monroe to the infamous LiLo: “She was sort of like Lindsay. She was an actress who wasn't reliable, who almost wasn't insurable... She had all the potential in the world, and it was squandered. I'm not interested in following in those footsteps."
Interestingly enough, Lohan who starred opposite of Megan Fox in the 2004 film Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, acquires a Monroe obsession. With several quotes of Marilyn tattooed on various places on her body, and a clothing line, 6126, named after the actress’ birth date, it’s no wonder why LiLo is being compared to Marilyn Monroe.
