Megan Fox baby: Being a working mom is hard, 'consuming' lifestyle with movies

Megan Fox knows a baby can be a lot of work, but apparently this self-described “consuming” lifestyle of motherhood and stardom is a truly taxing combination. Web Pro News shares this Monday, June 30, that although Fox loves her movie career, she’s only just realized that being a working mom is hard, especially when one’s heart on the job is always “with your family.” The former “Transformers” actress will be starring in an upcoming film this August, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”

Transitioning from being every teen boy's fantasy on the silver screen to a hardworking mom in just a few years, Megan Fox baby headlines have at last arrived on the scene today. She and husband Brian Austin Green now have three children together. They have a 1-year-old named Noah, little Bohdi (who’s not even six months yet), as well as Brian’s 12-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. Megan said it’s become exceedingly difficult to get back into film work when her mind is still wholly on her family.

“It’s so hard to be a working mom especially when your heart is not in your work, when your heart is with your family,” the actress revealed.

Despite this consuming lifestyle between balancing motherhood and the working world, Megan Fox isn’t saying goodbye to her movie career quite yet. According to Wonderwall MSN News, she will be making a primary appearance in a late summer action movie, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” which is set to release this August 8. This marks Fox’s latest return to the film set after two years, and that the mom is so used to being around babies that she’s forgotten what it’s like to get back to the hectic demands of work.

“It’s total chaos, obviously. Before you have kids you really do not understand how much work it is and how consuming it is. And then you have one and you’re like, ‘Oh my God, my baby is my whole world,’” she said in her interview. “Every moment of the day is dedicated to this one baby and then all of a sudden you have two babies! Their needs are so different because Noah is nearing 2 and then my newborn is 4 months. It’s really hard to manage because I also don’t let them watch TV. It’s not like I’m going to sit Noah in front of the television so I can take care of Bodhi.”

For all the moms out there, do you agree with Megan Fox’s baby statement claiming that being a working mom is indeed “consuming?” It seems that even for celebrities, balancing the work day with motherhood can be a challenging affair. Making time for your job and your loved ones with a busy schedule is never easy, but the demanding yet rewarding process is always well worth it. And are you or your kids looking forward to the new movie Fox is featured in, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?"
