On Saturday, March 22, the 2014 Megacon event made it's way to Orlando, Fla. and the crowd at the Orange County Convention Center were an eager bunch of geeks. Thousands of cosplay, sci-fi, anime, comic book, and fantasy genre fans had made their way into the convention halls and other media guests such as Karl Urban of the newer "Star Trek" reboot and Steven Yeun of "The Walking Dead" autographed and participated in photo opportunities with convention attendees.

There were plenty of cosplayers to be explored and posing with convention dwellers with many photo opportunities, too as even the most obscure characters caught the attention of many fanatical about certain cult related films and TV shows.

Well known lady cosplayers such as Alexia Jean Grey, Ivy Doom Kitty, and Ivy Cosplay made their rounds as they posed for photos outside the entrance to Megacon where it was the best environment for photographers alike to snap some pictures for wonderful keepsakes.

Other events occurring at the convention are panels, costume contests, and gaming where people can get their satisfactory fulfillment of special interests. One may have to schedule carefully so as not to inadvertently skip their favorite events.

Megacon continues forward on Sunday and the exhibit hall hours run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST.
