For comic and anime fans occupying the Florida region, there is no greater joy than attending the MegaCon. Florida’s largest convention devoted to comics and anime makes its yearly rounds and just as the years before, there are plenty of thrills to be had.
For those familiar with comic books (and considering you are attending the convention one would have to assume you are) there can be no greater joy than meeting and discussing superhero shenanigans with the men behind the capes. Luminaries such as Stan Lee and Geoff Johns will be on hand for autographs, though it would be wise to bring comfortable shoes as waiting times can prove daunting; take it from someone with experience (curse you Geoff Johns).
Otaku will be plenty content this year, with a slew of voice actors making the rounds. The ever popular Vic Mignogna along with his other Fullmetal Alchemist cohorts Chris Sabat and Travis Willingham will be hanging around and hosting panels. Others include Soul Eater stars Laura Bailey, Todd Haberkorn, and Brina Palencia. And what would a convention be without AMV and costume contests.
But of course, the best excuse to attend MegaCon? For fun.
MegaCon will be held Friday, February 17th and will run through the 19th.
