Lottery players are wondering if anyone won the Mega Millions on Feb. 14, 2014? Yes, and no. The Mega Millions winning numbers are 20, 28, 35, 71, 72, the Mega Ball number is 7, and the Megaplier is X 3. Congratulations go to the California and New York Mega Millions lottery winners, according to MLive.com on Saturday, Feb. 15.

Unfortunately, there were no $139 million Mega Millions jackpot winners in Friday night's drawing. The good news is there are 2,043,257 smaller Mega Millions winning tickets worth between $1 and $1 million waiting to be claimed. Are you one of the lucky Feb. 14 Mega Millions winners?

California and New York Mega Millions Lottery Winners

Believe it or not, there were only two (2) Match 5 + 0 winners that matched five out of six white Mega Millions winning numbers, missing only the gold Mega Ball number. The Mega Millions winners purchased their lucky tickets from the California Lottery and New York Lottery commissions.

Normally, second-tier Mega Millions lottery winners would receive checks for $1 million under the new and improved Mega Millions rules. However, Mega Millions prize amounts in California are pari-mutuel, and may vary depending on ticket sales and number of winners. In this case, the California Mega Millions lottery winner will only get a check for $505,010. The New York lottery winner will get a check for $1 million—minus state and federal taxes of course!

There were also twenty-seven (27) Match 4 + 1 winners in the Feb. 14 drawing. Each winner matched four out of five white Mega Millions winning numbers, AND the gold Mega Ball number for the third-tier prize of $5,000. One Megaplier winner will see their prize automatically multiplied to $15,000 instead of the standard $5,000 prize.

When is the Next Mega Millions Drawing?

The next Mega Millions drawing is scheduled for Feb. 18, at 11 p.m. EST. Tuesday's estimated jackpot is $154 million annuity, or $84 million cash-value before taxes. Mega Millions winning numbers are drawn Tuesday and Friday evenings at WSB-TV in Atlanta, Georgia. Tickets are sold in 42 states plus the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands and cost $1 each. Another $1 for the Megaplier option could greatly multiply your prize winnings!
