Mega Millions winning numbers jackpot worth $309 million for Mar. 11 drawing

The Mega Millions jackpot is once again creeping towards a half of a billion dollars. Tonight's winning Mega Millions jackpot is worth an estimated $309 million, or a $169 million onetime payout.

According to a Philly.com report on March 10, no one matched all six numbers in last Friday’s drawing, but three new millionaires were made. The winning tickets that matched all five white balls were sold in New York, Massachusetts and Texas.

In case you missed them, the winning numbers in last Friday’s drawing were 3, 31, 50, 58, 59 and the Mega Ball was 6. The drawing multiplier was 4x.

According to a Michigan.gov lottery update on March 11, over 115,000 winning tickets were sold for the last drawing, including thirty one $500 winners and one $5,000 winners.

Tonight’s Mega Millions jackpot will be the third largest in the in the past five years, and the 5th highest in the history of the Mega Millions lottery.
